September 2010 Newsletter
While I was sitting at an “end of the summer” picnic this past week, I told the person I was speaking to that I wasn’t going to let summer go that easily. I still had other outdoor picnics and ball games to attend. There are fairs and festivals with so much to do and see. No sir, I was not letting summer end, not yet. Oh, the kids may be heading back to school, so I will be careful and patient as I drive each day, but I am not letting this summer go by, not yet. There will still be 80° days and maybe even 90° days to enjoy a fleeting dip in a pool. There are rounds of golf yet to be played with good friends and there are band concerts and nature walks to be enjoyed. I will not succumb to autumn until at least next month. As for this month, I am taking my time to enjoy all these events and activities. I hope you will too.

At Michael Thomas we are not willing to let go of summer either. Our long stemmed rose special continues all month with your choice of the many colors we have. September is the best month to buy flowers. Seasonal summer flowers are readily available. Fall colors and varieties are showing up in our store each day and as I mentioned, the roses are still priced just right. Stop by our store and get yours during September.

Our very best wishes to all teachers, students and all who work to protect and guide our children as they begin another school year. May they all learn and grow together.
