• S.A.F. - Society of American Florist
  This organization is not a wire service. It is an organization whose main purpose is to raise the flower awareness with the American public. They also are the largest lobbyist group in Washington on the behalf of the Floral Industry in the United States.
  
  
• L.V.F.A. - The Lehigh Valley Floral Association
  The L.V.F.A. is a group of florists from the Lehigh Valley area. Although this group has gotten smaller over the past few years it's a group which works to provide floral displays for the Lehigh Valley Flower and Garden Show, Allentown Fair, and other civic-minded projects. Michael T. Brown, owner of Michael Thomas Floral, has served on the Board of Directors of the L.V.F.A. in the past. Currently, Cathy Reese is the Executive Secretary for the L.V.F.A.
  
  
• N.F.I.B. - The National Federation of Independent Businessmen
  The N.F.I.B. is a group which lobbies in Washington D.C., and plays watchdog for the rights and needs of the small business person.

  Michael is also a registered member of the National Who's Who for Retail florists.
  
  
  
• Master Florist
  After completing a series of courses on marketing, production, professional business technologies, and employee & customer skills training, Michael is a certified Master Florist. Keitha Pavolko has acquired her Master Floral Designer status from F.T.D.
